Ownership of intellectual property
All images, photographs, text, video clips, audio clips, illustrations, games, graphics, creative elements, and other intellectual property that appear on the Santa Cruz Montessori website are the property of Santa Cruz Montessori. Any unauthorized reuse or distribution of any content on SCMS.org web pages is strictly prohibited.
Guidelines on the submission of photos, videos, and artwork for posting
SCMS.org visitors who wish to submit photos, videos, artwork, or essays do so with their complete understanding of the following:
- Photos, videos, and artwork may be submitted only by a registered user of the SCMS.org Parent Portal.
- SCMS.org has the unrestricted authorization to post any submitted photos, videos, or artwork on its website; use them in newsletters; and use them in any SCMS.org communications.
- Submitted photos, videos, and artwork must belong entirely — and only — to the person who submitted them.
- The submitted photo, video, or artwork has not been doctored or altered in any way from its original state.
- Anyone who submits a photo, video, or artwork agrees to hold Santa Cruz Montessori; the owners of SCMS.org; and the website's operators harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the acceptance, possession, and use of the submitted photo, video, or artwork on the SCMS.org website, in SCMS.org newsletters, and in SCMS.org communications.
User postings, contributions, and participation at SCMS.org
Any information, input, or creative contributions posted on the Santa Cruz Montessori website become the sole legal possession of Santa Cruz Montessori, which maintains the absolute right to accept or reject such content for display.
The Santa Cruz Montessori website — as well as its owner, Santa Cruz Montessori — are not responsible in any way for content on third-party web pages to which SCMS.org links.
