Parent Participation
Parents are an integral part of our community! To encourage parent participation we ask parents to complete volunteers hours throughout the year. There are a variety of ways to earn these points.

The SCM School Newsletter is our official method of communication. This weekly email announcement includes dates, information, and other important news. Please email office@scms.org to be added to our weekly newsletter.

Driving Record and Proof of Insurance
All parents and guardians who plan to drive students on any school outings must provide the office with a driving record report from the DMV and proof of vehicle insurance. This paperwork must be submitted every year in order to drive students. Driving records can be ordered online or at the DMV.

Mandated Reporter Training
To ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care, all parent volunteers and field trip drivers must complete Mandated Reporter and Child Abuse Prevention Training before participating. Please note that none of these can be waived, and volunteers will not be able to assist in the classroom or on field trips until all required items are complete.
Yearbook
Yearbooks can be ordered any time of the year. All orders are made through the Treering website. Our yearbook publisher partners with Trees for the Future to plant a tree for every book printed!
School Lunches
School lunches are available by arrangement through Ohlsen Foods.
