Madison Gillen serves as a Learning Coach within the Learning Support Team at Santa Cruz Montessori. A Santa Cruz native, Madison is not only an alumna of SCMS but also a parent to two children currently enrolled at the school. She holds a Master of Education from Westminster College and Montessori certificates (AMS/AMI) at the Primary, Elementary, and Adolescent levels. In her role as a Learning Specialist, she assists students with developing various skills, including executive functioning, writing, math, and self-advocacy. Beyond her responsibilities as a Learning Coach, she serves as the resource specialist in the Wavecrest community. Madison takes great pleasure in working with students of all ages within the SCMS community and finds it particularly rewarding to support those with learning differences, drawing from her own experiences in this area.
